Happy Tuesday...what's new today?

Hello everyone...it is noon and no one has started the thread.

You are stuck with me again!!!

Another beautiful sunshine day!! Windows are open and it feels so refreshing!

Yesterday I did my two walks and then I did a shorter walk outside. It felt so good to get fresh air!! I am hoping I can do it again today.

I pray Butch got some relief from the change in his medication. I hope they can come up with something else that is longer acting for him on Thursday. I know this is so hard on Vickie. No one wants to see a loved one in that kind of pain. Vickie, prayers and love for you too my dear friend.

I pray Judy is doing better with handling all her losses and the worries about her mother. Her job is way too stressful with all this going on. I hope she gets a break today!! Love you, Judy!!

I as usual have nothing different planned from every other day. I just go with the flow.

I will check back in later to see who else will post.

Prayers for our awesome OFF Family and their families.

Much love and lots of hugs to all.....connie d

Hi Connie and my OFF family:

I had a horrible start to the day. I wanted to go to the Y but it is pouring rain and my body feels like crap. Set my alarm and it went off but I went back to sleep. Got up at 9 and got out of bed, made coffee, went to get my water pitcher out of the fridge. A big plastic jar of Ragu jumped out and fell on the floor and there was red spaghetti sauce all over the place ... on the floor, on my slippers, on my robe. So I spent time cleaning that up before Richard came out and finished it up and mopped the floor clean.

I'm supposed to have an appointment with my shrink, but I'm not in the mood. My knee hurts and my tummy hurts ... I need to go out and get my phone fixed, but I don't want to. I will go out, though, to get the phone fixed because that's important. And Richard needs Diet Pepsis. Other than that, nothing will get done. Too tired. My knee is so sore and hurts so much. I may get out my TENS unit and try that.

I need to buy an address book since I can't find mine, so I can start filling out addresses again. Anyone here that I might have had a phone number/address, please PM me with that. I feel lost without my book. Richard is too efficient in his cleaning. I will have to hide it!

Plus when I opened the newspaper this morning, I saw I made a mistake (grammatical error ... Panthers escapes Bulldogs .... arrgh! Sports guy signed off on it, but still ... it was my error and I should have caught it. I know exactly how it happened. I start with the school name and then change to the nickname).

Glad you have sunshine there, Connie. Nothing but rain, rain, rain here. Calling for flash flooding here.

Guess I should get dressed and get moving. Just want to take a nap, though. But I need my phone.

Have a good day.

Hi Eileen....what a day you are having!! Red sauce is the worse to clean up, especially on clothes and slippers. I am glad Richard was there to help you get it cleaned up.

I am sorry your pain is so bad in your knee and tummy. I hope the TENS unit helps. Sometimes it works for me and sometimes I thin**** works longer. I hope you can find some relief soon.

You definitely need your phone. Your therapist will understand. Some days just aren't a good day.

I don't suppose Richard has a clue where the address book got placed. Sorry you have to re-do it!!  Hide it in your underwear drawer!!

I am so grateful for these sunny days. I wish they had the outside benches out. I would sit on one and read for awhile. It won't be long as they are already getting the flower beds cleaned up!! I hope the sun decides to head your way!!

I hope you will feel better this evening. Take good care of yourself!!!

I will leave a message on Facebook with my address and phone number.

Love and many hugs to you....connie d

Greeting Connie and OFF,

Well, I made the mistake of staying up late, watching TV, and responding to stuff of Facebook.  When my Irish gets going, I end up losing sleep.  Certain issues get my Irish up.  Racism and discrimination are the two biggies that kept me awake last night.  So, needless to say, I overslept, and then had to get out the door to an appointment at the pain doc's.  It was a follow-up to my shot last month.  When I got back to town, I stopped at the store for some Diet Coke, my one weakness.  I have had to give up so many things in the past eight years, but can't give up that.

The rest of the day will involve dishes, and more organizing.  I got quite a bit done yesterday, but you wouldn't know it to look at this place.  By the end of the week, I hope to make serious progress.  At least that's my goal.

Eileen, I have had days like your's has been.  Plus, your mistake with the headline makes sense when you explain what happened.  I'm sure it won't be the last time a headline gets goofed.  Mistakes help us learn.  I have learned more from the mistakes I've made than any other way.

Connie, good for you, three walks is awesome.  I should try to walk Utley.  Just not sure I can walk from my house to the street without getting my feet wet.  Huge puddles cover my driveway, and that's the only way to get to the street.  Snow still covers the yard.

Must scoot.  Nothing is being accomplished here with me on y laptop.

Love and Prayers,

Trish

Hi Trish.....sorry you overslept but it sounds like you made it to your pain doctor appointment ....that was good. I guess everything went well as you didn't say anything about it.

We all stay up later then we should. I try not to get on Facebook at night....so many people just like to argue. I don't like racism and discrimination either. Most times on Facebook I just skip over the post. Might not be right but I don't like to argue and I don't want to hear all the garbage they spew out out of their heads. I know where I stand and just leave it at that.

Dishes and more organizing....you are on a mission!! I hope you get it done and can sit back and relax soon.

I agree if I had to wade in water I would not do it either. It is getting pretty dried up around here. I feel so good walking...I have always loved to walk. Believe me some days are so much harder then others!! My walk outside felt good today but it was very windy! I got my exercise in for sure!!

Love and many hugs to you...connie d
